How does it work?

 Tapping can help you:

  • Feel less reactive to outer circumstances, as you feel more confident 
          and calm within.



If you wonder how changes like pain, happiness or anxiety, can all be affected by something like tapping, it’s because there is one system that ties our body, mood and behaviour together: the autonomic nervous system. The part of us that informs us if we’re safe.
 
Unlike positive thinking, we (gently and safely) bring our problem to mind (exposure) while we use our fingertips to stimulate specific acupuncture points. We either silently tap or voice our issue out loud. 

The tapping sends calming signals to our midbrain and if done well we allow the body to very gently unwind any (old) survival stress (fight, flight, freeze or fawn) from it's systems.

When we de-stress  we think and feel different. Our health,  behaviour and relation ships all benefit.

DISCLAIMER EFT

Although emotional Freedom Techniques are gaining in scientific support EFT is still considered experimental in nature. It is not yet widely accepted as a formally validated scientific technique.
